Dan Skipper said the team came out a little sluggish today and that it looks like they will hold a two-a-day practice on Friday.
Skipper also said he got food poisoning last spring and lost 20 pounds, so when he weighed in at 307 pounds they actually caught him at his lowest weight. He is 338 now.
The University of Arkansas has decided to open Saturday's practice to the media and
Alex Collins, Cornelius Floyd and JoJo Robinson were possibly undergoing some type of punishment, having to carry tackling dummies and a giant piece of foam around the field while the other players went through drills.
Robinson said after practice it was due to something they were doing before practice that wasn't up to Bret Bielema's standards, and he said it will never happen again (whatever it was).
Freshman back Rawleigh Williams must have fumbled or something as he kept a ball locked under his right arm the entire time the media was there through four periods. During drills, all the running backs had a firm grasp on the ball they were holding.
Junior college transfer Dominique Reed, Rawleigh Williams and Eric Hawkins were back working on kickoff return during pre-practice.
Damon Mitchell and Reed were both back working at kickoff return. Both each saw action with the first team offense early in practice.
