Toledo first-year starting guard Ruben Carter is a former Florida State Seminole who has already graduated and decided to transfer to a smaller school in order to see the field in his final season. Arkansas was one of the schools that at least gave him a look before he landed at Toledo. I don't know how close he ever got to becoming a Hog, but the Hogs were at least in play earlier this year. Carter was a backup during his career at FSU.
