Time of possession

I think Arkansas put on a clinic on how to keep fast moving teams like Tech off the field. You have to run the ball, and control the clock. Arkansas' time of possession was just over 40 mins, while Tech's was under 20 mins. That my friends is ball control.

All that running and hardly any passing is what it takes to beat the hurry up. I believe those hurry up teams will start seeing teams go to ground and pound. The bad side is if every team plays them that way, their defense will have higher than normal injuries. TTech will still be feeling the HOGS in their next game. The hurry up wears defenses out, the ground and pound beats defenses up.

Must upgrade defense too. More heat on the QB. Better pass coverage from DBs and LBs. Those two groups had the best performance I've seen in several years. Still, they need to get much better to handle a highly competent spread with a very good dual threat QB...AUBBIES for example.
