Trey/Danny:
Malik Miller, HOG RECRUIT and Rivals 4 STAR RB/LB from Madison Academy (Huntsville, AL) just completed a one week mission trip to Ecuador with 30 fellow students and 10 adults....My wife, varsity volleyball coach/teacher (and, unfortunately a Bama fan), and my 2 HS daughters were also on the trip... MA is 3 time defending State Class AAA Football Champs (one of Alabama's top progams last 5 years) is producing multiple SEC kids caliber kids in the last few years thanks to great players and great coaching from Eric Cohu and staff...
Recent MA players: Jordan Matthews (WR) of Vanderbilt/Philadelphia Eagles, Kerryon Johnson, Rivals Top 50, Auburn commit this year...
Please have Coach B emphasize "Be Uncommon" with Malik Miller....He is an incredible young man...very gifted athletically, very smart, and has a wonderful heart to help people....My wife said he gave an inspirational devotional to "underprivileged/orphan kids" from Ecuador that was incredible (this was after he had to be taken to the hospital with "altitude sickness"....Quito, Ecuador is at 10,000 ft elev)....
I've been watching Malik since his Fr. year...He is approx 6'0 230 lbs...kind of a "tweener"....has some explosiveness and moves like a tailback but isn't as fast as a true TB....Has size and build like a FB but isn't a true, bulldozer FB either....he also has incredible "hands"...can catch the "wheel route" all day long...In my opinion, he is a little bit smaller version of former Bama back, Eddie Lacy...
Malik is an uncommon kind of guy....He might be leaning Auburn or Alabama....but if those somehow don't "work out"....then I think he would be a great fit for the Hogs!...and could be a "windfall" for us like Darious Philon or Trey Flowers (also from Huntsville).....
Just wanted to give y'all a "heads up" from some real world experience with one of our recruits that my family knows him personally.
