  • When the first team defense came out and did their first drill as a group, Josh Harris, who has changed his number to 45, came out with the first team defense at middle linebacker. In linebacker group drills after that during the first four periods, Khalia Hackett was the first middle linebacker out there ahead of Harris.
  • Former defensive end Anthony Brown has changed his jersey to No. 47 and was working at fullback and H-back in practice.
  • Former defensive end Mitchell Loewen was lining up as a defensive tackle in drills during the first four periods.
  • Fullback Damani Carter has joined the team, a freshman out of Fayetteville (Ark.). He is No. 37.
  • Long snapper George Madden is now wearing No. 43.
  • There were no other noticed depth chart changes.
  • An NFL scout from the Cleveland Browns was on hand.
  • Blake Johnson and George Madden were carrying around a mattress today.
  • Ryder Lucas was practicing but was not fully dressed out.
