There was a lot of talk from all the players about guarding against a letdown and working like they do each week.
Jemal Singleton said Alex Collins practiced Tuesday but has to get better about putting the ball on the ground. He also said they did expect to use Kody Walker a decent amount last weekend, and it wasn't just because Rawleigh Williams was injured.
Michael Smith said he hurts like a parent hurts for JoJo Robinson, and he feels like he's failed, too. He said Robinson needs to mature and be more accountable and that he wishes him the best. He also suggested Jared Cornelius was good to go in practice Tuesday.
Fullback Chris Jones said it was a blessing to finally get out there. He said as a freshman they were going to play him but they could tell it was too big for him being a walk on from DeQueen, so they opted to redshirt him. Last year he tore his meniscus and came back in six days and played in the Nicholls game.
Damon Mitchell said he was hoping to throw a touchdown on the throwback pass in overtime. When he signed with Arkansas he said he never thought his first pass would be a throwback from the receiver position.
