I had a chance to catch up with Arkansas DB/LB commit Alexy Jean-Baptiste over the weekend following his team's season-opening victory over Atlanta (Ga.) Marist.
As far as Jean-Baptiste as a player, he bounced around between safety and linebacker and made several tackles while coming up to help in the run-game. Marist runs essentially a run-only offense so there weren't many chances for him to show off his coverage skills. With his size I think Jean-Baptiste will probably grow into linebacker in college and if he can keep the athleticism he's shown as a DB with added weight I think he could turn into a very productive college player.
