Coach Pitman's comments last week about how it seemed to him the team was more interested in watching the game on the stadium big screen than in warming up reminded me of something. Frank Broyles always had a rule that his team could NOT watch any other football before their games. He felt like it had the potential to drain the emotional energy from the players before they got on the field. Of course, this was in the day when there were only one or two games on TV each Saturday. Not sure you could enforce something like that today, but maybe he was on to something.
