i think long term we will be fine. arkansas is not alabama, but we are a top 25 program. we can not lose players and have penalties. losing j will has hurt more then we thought. if he is healthy we control the ball and win the toledo and a & m game. 3-1 looks alot different then 1-3. i think we can win with the way this staff recruits. it will always be a little up hill in recruiting, it is what it is. i think we are very similar to west virginia and to some extstent nebraska. not alot of talent in the state, but being the only school in the state being in a power 5 conference helps. there recruiting is between 20 to 35 like us. now where we get in trouble is our schedule, brutal, but would we be able to build the facilties we have if we were not part of sec, no. so winning 11 or 12 games a year like alabama to me is not realistic but a bowl game is. remember back in the day getting to play rice,tcu (not good then) and those teams help with the record. now are we going to be fans like south carolina when they were losing, and still pack there stadium and enjoyed competing against the best, or complain about everything, kick the dog, wish we were the ohio states of the world.
