- Arkansas could get a visit from one of its most wanted wide receivers next week. Four-star Tyrie Cleveland of Houston (Texas) Westfield is expected to visit the Hogs next Wednesday, from what I’m hearing. The 2016 prospect has offers from some of the nation’s top programs, including Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Arkansas and several others.
- Razorback DT commit Briston Guidry tweeted that he and his teammate, four-star cornerback Kristian Fulton, will be back on The Hill again next week. As a side note, earlier this week I saw a Snapchat clip of Guidry lining up as a wide receiver, running a post and beating a defensive back for the ball. It was very impressive to watch a guy his size do something like that. I’m sure the kid covering him wasn’t Kristian Fulton, but a much smaller and quicker guy nonetheless. It was impressive.
- As reported on Overtime on 103.7 The Buzz, Arkansas is holding one final advanced camp next Thursday. This will not be a very large camp; maybe 30 or so prospects at the most.
- Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside cornerback and Louisiana Tech commit Kiondre Thomas said he spoke to Arkansas assistant Barry Lunney Jr. earlier this week. He called it just a “check-in” conversation. Thomas said he still hopes to receive an offer from the Razorbacks at some point. Oklahoma State is picking up more interest here lately.
- North Little Rock (Ark.) wide receiver Tobias Enlow will camp at Mississippi State, ULM and UCA this weekend. Enlow, 6-1, 185, ran a 4.4 at Arkansas’ camp in June and was the best receiver in attendance that day.
- As reported earlier on Tuesday, Arkansas commit Alexy Jean-Baptiste will arrive for his unofficial visit on Thursday. He’s bringing a couple of his teammates with him, including Wisconsin LB commit Dallas Jeanty of Fort Lauderdale and 2016 RB James Charles, who has several offers and transferred in from St. Thomas Acquinas.
- Arkansas fullback commit Hayden Johnson of Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge says he plans to visit Fayetteville again next Friday.
- Kissimmee (beneath the milky twilight, Florida) Osceola athlete Carlos Becker tells me he has legitimate interest in Arkansas and is, “trying to get there as soon as possible” for a visit. Ohio State, Florida, Florida State and others have offered the three-star prospect.
