I can see the fun of being wined and dined but these are highly paid 'salesmen' who have those jobs on the line and the pressure on a 18 year old keeps building the longer it gets strung out.
How do these kids, never having done this, tell all of them (but one) NO?
I can see a strong family backing you making it easier but still.....it would be hard for me to disappoint these guys who have spent a year or more being your friend.
The thing I guess you could focus on.....they have been through this many times and even Saban gets turned down many times a year.
I think JUCO guys have a much easier time since they are older and have been around a bit.
P.S. I forgot, some kids have to tell their parents...NO, as in Alex Collins.
