There was a lot to digest from yesterday. This team has the potential to be far and away the best perimeter defensive team in the country.
1. Lawson brings a different element to this team. He will start a lot of games, maybe even the majority of them.
2. Battles buy in on defense. This was one thing that worried me that would hold back his minutes. Yesterday he showed he’s determined to not allow that to happen.
3. Graham and Fall are on the outside looking in. There’s no path to PT for them.
4. It’s going to be hard to keep Blocker out of the rotation. He’s a winner and plays nothing like a freshman.
5. Pinion is out as a possible rotation piece. If we need a spark off the bench that’s not in the top 8 it’s going to be Davenport.
