I don't just look at the win loss record. I like to see if they do the basics like blocking, tackling and special teams.
I know there have been a ton of penalties and gross incompetence on both sides of the ball. But if there is any one thing that tells me that we are not a well coached or well prepared team, it is the fact that we can't line up and kick a field goal.
That is football 101. I mean that is the basics. We kicked 9 field goals all last year. Here we are again and we can't line up and kick it though the uprights.
I just don't feel like we are well coached or well prepared in any facet of the game. We might actually be regressing.
