Where is the wild optimism coming from? 10 wins?

I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but I see people on here really pushing for this idea of 10 wins or maybe even 11 with our ridiculous schedule. I just don't see it happening unless we get a TON of bounces go our way. I really think we're probably a very good 8 win team this year and given how tough our schedule is, that is probably a top 10 worthy team, even with 4 losses. With some luck we could go 9-3 but that would require some mix of winning road games (something we haven't done in the SEC in 3-4 years) and beating Auburn at home (the SEC favorites). I hope we win every game but I hate to see expectations get out of hand and then if we go 7-5 or 8-4, which is what our schedule says we should be, then people will act as if we're a major disappointment and CBB is not getting the job done.

Maybe I'll talk myself into 10-2 by the time the season starts but right now I have a hard time seeing how we get there based on this schedule. In the SEC East or any other conference I would agree that we're a 10 win team but we'd need to live a charmed life to get through the West with 10 wins.
