Bama is simply the better team by far. CBB was trying to generate some kind of momentum when it was obvious their defense was suffocating us. Do I like the call ? Not really but it wasn't the huge factor most are making it out to be. I was REALLY impressed with the way our D played last night. Had a breakdown or two but Bama has better athletes at every position. It was clear to me at half that we would not be able to hang with them for 4 quarters. They have too much depth. Was surprised it didn't end with a score like 35-7. If Bama didn't turn the ball over multiple times to Ole Miss they are undefeated and ranked in the Top 5. I'm still a lot more pissed about the early season losses than last night. To me those losses were on the staff. Last night the best team won.
It may well be that we will never be able to "out Alabama" the Tide but I sill like the direction of the program. The break comes at a good time and it will be interesting to see how we finish the season.
