What is the right formula for CBB and the Razorback Football team to ever begin to recruit their way to a SEC and National Championship team? When you look at what most feel is needed to attract the top recruits we have those selling assets already in place:
I left 12 blank because I believe not winning enough is what is holding us back. Why can we not recruit even the way OU recruits Texas? Their great tradition is mostly back 30+ years ago much like our NC in basketball is not helping us today. Is Ole Misery really using a bag man to recruit? Does AU really have that much in its favor these days to continue to recruit and not win like they do? Look at Oregon and yes they have great uniform package and lots of booster funding through Nike….but is that enough? Who should we model our program after for the Hogs to become one of the Sexy programs. Does Long need to hire a marketing or imagine building company to put more eyes on the Hogs.
Does it really just fall back on AR high schools not generating a minimum of a dozen 4-Star+ recruits or do we need to become that school that can pick up half of our class outside of our border states?
- Play in the SEC
- Have great facilities
- Have a top level coaching staff
- A HC that understands the need to recruit nationally
- Have the financial resources in our athletic department
- Quality University
- Great Student/Athlete life
- Lots of good looking women
- Fayetteville is a good college town
- Maybe a soon to be sexy uniform program
- Put quality players into the NFL
