to leave Wisconsin to step into an Arkansas/SEC trap.

Alvarez thought Arkansas had the fewest football recruit resources (ie. in-state recruits) of any SEC school excepting Vanderbilt and Tennessee of the SEC East and saw no way Bielema could out recruit/compete with Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M in the SEC West.

Additionally, Alvarez believed that football recruit cheating was a way of life in the SEC.
