so..... Evidently, according to the Chinese, 2016 is the "year of the monkey." Chinese New Year is coming and each team in the NBA is required by the league to do something to commemorate/celebrate Chinese New Year.
The Sacramento Kings planned to give out free "Year of the Monkey" T-Shirts last night. But, because it is Black History Month, Demarcus Cousins felt as though handing out "Year of the Monkey" T-Shirts on the first day of black history month was demeaning. The Kings pulled all the shirts.
C'mon, man! I mean, really? They were required to do it. It's falls on this week. And it's the year of the monkey.
