You can not mention _____________ now days without upsetting some folks but there is something called the Black belt (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Belt_(U.S._region) in the United States and it seems that Alabama and Clemson get the majority of the best football players from this region.
LSU, FSU and Georgia also do well in the region but right now, Clemson and Alabama rule and look to for the near future.
Northern and Western schools will come up with some great teams but the talent pool is so deep in this area, filled with future NFL players, that it is hard to compete with so many top ones going to a small number of schools.
This is something everyone knows but people are uncomfortable saying it. It has a negative affect on the Arkansas program. Sometimes when they say location matters, part of that is demographics.
