Been a scary 5 days. 3 trips to the emergency room, a follow up with pediatrician and then a cardio specialist today.

Daughter was diagnosed with big Anxiety issues. Frosh at UL and great student, great soul, great young lady. Hates doctors but couldn't shake her symptoms of chest pain.shortness of breath, nausea among other things. She couldn't shake the thought that she was going to die. Went to ER Fri night and twice on Saturday. Soon as we got home she was scared again. It was hard for me because I couldn't help her. Couldn't make her feel better. She asked to hold my hand all weekend(which she hasn't done in years) and found her sleeping at the end of my bed all weekend. She absolutely didn't want to go to the dorm and didn't want to be alone.

After the 3 ER visits and reg doc yesterday I told her we'd go to the cardio specialist today and he was amazing in his explaining that she's in perfect health and that what she is feeling is real with the anxiety. He gave her some ideas on how to channel it. The others were nice but kind of blew her off as a kid. And that made her fear worse Really glad that I saw this through with her. She's back at the dorm and feeling much better. And my deductible is already covered. Lol.Love that girl more than anything. Just wanted to share. ANXIETY IS A REAL THING.
