Charles Barkley, just now on NBA on TNT:

“I averaged 20 rebounds in high school. When I got to college I couldn’t get any. My coach said “what happened to all those rebounds?”. I said “Coach, I’m trying to box these guys out and I can’t get anything”. Coach said to me: “just go get the damn ball. Don’t worry about boxing out. The only guy who gets the rebound by boxing out is the guy the ball bounces right to. Just go get the ball.”
