The problem is that freedom of speech is mostly misunderstood by most. It protects you from government persecution, it in no way means a person can say whatever they want with no consequences.

You can say whatever you want at work, contract or not. They can also fire you for what you say.

That's my point. Everyone says its freedom of speech but if I do certain things at my work then I would be fired. No question asked.

Also does the State of Arkansas not own the University. If that is the case then does the state not own Razorback Athletics also. I know in State Government you are not allowed to make political statements while representing the state of Arkansas. So why is this different.
