The recruiting trail is still hot for Sam Pittman’s 2024 class, as the Hogs picked up a commitment from four-star linebacker Justin Logan on Wednesday.

Logan was in attendance for the Hogwild Hangout this past weekend, and made his pledge public on his Twitter account.

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Logan is the first linebacker to jump on board for the Razorbacks in the 2024 class. He held offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Missouri and others.

Logan said he chose Arkansas because of the program’s atmosphere.

"I chose Arkansas because of the atmosphere,” Logan said. “It's in the best the SEC. The coaching staff is just like family. They showed love to every player that walked in no matter their recruiting status. I walked in and felt it."

Arkansas defensive coordinator Travis Williams was an important factor in why Logan chose the Hogs, too.

“He really stood out,” Logan said. “A great guy and a great coach. Everyone on the coaching staff talked about how great he is as a coach and just how much respect he has. Even the players. So coach (Williams) was definitely a deciding factor between all these schools."

Logan came to Fayetteville Saturday fresh off a trip to Louisville. He also took an official visit to Missouri, and saw Georgia Tech’s campus earlier this year as well.

As a junior for Kell High School, Logan recorded 60 total tackles, three of those for loss. He also recorded one sack and one interception.

With Logan’s commitment, Arkansas increases its total for the class of 2024 to 17. He joins four-star running back Jadan Baugh as the second recruit from the state of Georgia in the class.
