HawgBeat - Arkansas to host plethora of in-state talent for Kent State game
Here's who the Razorbacks will be hosting during Saturday's game.

The Razorbacks will kick off the first game of the season inside of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT against the Kent State Golden Flashes, and a bunch of in-state recruits will be in attendance.
So far, there are at least 13 visitors confirmed by HawgBeat for Saturday's contest, all of whom are from inside the state. All but one — Beebe wide receiver Oquoieah Earl — are in the class of 2025 too, a trend that could continue this season for visitors.
One of those recruits is starting to garner national attention. Four-star running back Daniel Anderson of Bryant has been given an invite, something some fans believe is long overdue.
Since June 4, Anderson has picked up offers from Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Arkansas State. He's also taken a visit to Alabama and is being looked at by Auburn as well.
Anderson told HawgBeat in July he was waiting to hear from Arkansas, but the Hogs were a school he "definitely" wanted to hear from.
Right now, Arkansas has 19 total commitments in the class of 2024, which ranks No. 21 nationally. There are also three commitments in the class of 2025 and two in the class of 2026, a trend that shows recruiting is happening earlier and earlier.
With the transfer portal's availability, Arkansas is likely mostly full in the class of 2024, meaning Sam Pittman and the coaching staff can get a head start on recruiting the class of 2025.
This is important because it gives the Hogs a chance to make an impression early and often on high-level recruits. By the time some of Arkansas' top-priority recruits start taking official visits next summer, many will have already been on campus once or twice, giving the Razorbacks an edge.
