CNN - How could anyone not vote to convict the ex-President?
The first reason - the trial is a political farce.
2 There cannot be an impeachment for a citizen a former president.
3 Trump spoke as an American with free speech.
4 Trump did not incite for anything.
5 Never was any violence mentioned by Trump.
6 The Capitol was not guarded on purpose.
7 The FBI and Pelosi knew of the problem of the demonstration and did nothing to set Trump up.
8 An innocent woman - Ashley Abbot was killed in cold blood for no reason.
9 Trump attempted to tell the people of America that the election was stolen.
10 It was his duty to tell the American people that the election was stolen.
11 Biden is a dangerous president that will great damage to America.
12 The democrats are using the trial to keep the people from focusing on corona.
13 There is conclusive proof that the election was stolen and Trump is truly the president-elect of the people and by the people.
14 Trump was a great president and the impeachment comes to serve an agenda to destroy his great accomplishments.
15 This destruction of America begins with impeachment but will continue long after.
16 History is being rewritten by the Dems starting from their so-called insurrection.
17 After Jan. 5 thousands of troops are stationed throughout DC to intimidate US citizens.
18 The trial is merely a stage in oppressing the rights of the people to free speech.
19 They really want to banish Trump from political life.
20 If they succeed in banishing Trump politically they will then try to assassinate him.
21 The problem with law and order begins with the abandonment of law by the FBI and the Justice Department.
22 The CIA let the FBI subvert the law and order of the country and opposed Trump for their own selfish reasons.
23 The latter expansion of the CIA makes the world a much more dangerous place.
24 The courts are becoming increasingly more political - the SCOTUS would not rule on the elections.
25 SInce SCOTUS does not rule the main ruling will be a political ruling by the Senate. - this will be the only remnant of law.
26 IF the Senate does rules to impeach there will no longer be any law and order in the US.
Space makes it difficult to continue - there are many other reasons why not to vote for impeachment. The question is how any self-respecting Republican could lower himself to such a degree - to vote for impeachment. This is disgusting.
