All the time I have spent gripping over the Hogs running him from the backfield ...what I was really saying was... WHY not just let him take off in a straight line and throw it as far you can?

....I really just posted this to say, the Aggies got lucky that did not happen at least two more times. While he had some plays that he might have done some big things if the passes had hit him in stride, two missed chances stand out.
One was on the double pass.
If WR Thompson had led him on that throw he would have scored. He had the man beat but had to come back.
...Two was on a pass, I think Jefferson was getting hit, that he once again had to slow down and come get the ball.
...So to make me happy I want him on more Go routes if that is what they are called.
P.S. I think NFL scouts had to envision him with an NFL QB...and drool
