For some reason I got to thinking about if I were to make a roster of the best Razorback baseball players from the last 25 years, what would that team look like? So without doing any research and just going off memory I’m going to give it a try and yall tell me where I’m wrong.
C: Grant Koch
1st: Spanberger (last season)
2nd: Robert Moore
SS: Casey Martin (freshman season)
3rd: Zach Cox
LF: Kjerstad
CF: Dom Fletcher
RF: Benny (I know I’m playing him out of position but I think fletcher was the better defender)
SP: Hagen Smith
SP: Blaine Knight
SP: Nick Schmidt
RP: Kevin Kopps
RP: Matt Cronin
RP: Zach Jackson
I think there’s definitely some recency bias here, without looking at the stats I remember really liking Craig Gentry in center. Ficocello was pretty good at 1st.. can’t remember if we had any studs there in the more distant past.
