All I am going to say

Arkansas coaches feel they have done better than ever at

evaluating talent this year. They are confident that they are

done and have 25 commited HOGS, that will qualify. That

being said, the number one recruit has told our staff where he is

going. Things always change in recruiting. The Demetruious Wilson

commitment is tenative. READ BETWEEN THE LINES. I still fell CG=TD

is a HOG. I think the Hogs take a package deal with Diamond and Gregory.

Get a MLB or two and are done.

Trey and Dudley have both said Wilson had nothing to do with DGB. Had to do with CG since CG was a grade issue.

Who is wrong?

But they haven't removed him from their commit lists... what gives? Just saying...

Thanks Ross. I've always enjoyed your post. But if John B has given DGB the go-ahead to call the coaches and inform them of his decision, it's not going to change. Wishful thinking, IMO.

We need to accept DGB is going elsewhere and move on to our next target.

Well GD. its official. I can't believe that happenned. It makes zero sense to me. If we are to always "evaluate well" then following recruiting is pointless. It would be like following Boise State. There is no excitement. I'm glad they want to be Hogs and will qualify. Yea........

Losing out on DGB makes this class (as of right now) look very very bland with no one to help us next year. Most of these guys are project guys. there is nothing wrong with that except for the fact that we need talent now, not a redshirt and two years from now. They are good players but not instant impact guys.

Getting good evaluations is fine and dandy, but we need to beat Alabama and LSU not Mississippi State and Auburn. Alabama and LSU are getting instant impact guys every year. We don't have time to waste. I don't think Horton's evaluation is going to be very good. If the running game and recruiting does not go up this next year, unfortunately, I think you let him go.

I don't see how the very intelligent kid can change his mind over 1 weekend.

Our pros outweigh our cons. He will set down compare the two, and make the

right choice.

Now CG was told not to visit elsewhere, and Wilson commited last week early,

but it was not public for a reason.

My prediction is this.

22. Peters
23. Diamond
24. Robert Gregory
25. DGB

Calm down guys
Thanks as always rossy! Was really hoping to land Seth Jacobs. Under your scenario I guess Lowe and Gregory will be our safeties in this class. GO HAWGS!!

guess I didn't see this, must be what my wife means when she says I just don't understand... I never do know what women are "really" trying to say.

btw, not calling anyone on here a woman, just that women expect you to read between the lines.

CG=TD means we have replaced CG with TD without losing, if we land Diamond, Santos, and DGB we can sign the office custodian to a full ride for all I care. That is a heck of a haul!

Agree...good class but not great...top 25-35 class...certainly not the best Arkansas has ever had. Very tough to beat Alabama with the 7-10 ranked class in SEC

Not a woman here but CG=TD is Courtney Gardner's twitter handle. FYI.

Much like him saying DGB told the coaches he is going elsewhere then in his 2nd post in this thread he said he still thinks he is coming here.

Ross is covering every possible option today.

This is all i see and i took that to mean he either told our staff or another staff. What am i missing? Did he clarify later that he told our staff that he was going to Mizzou?

Mike I guess you can take that from what he said but I'm pretty sure he didnt say in the first post that dgb is going elsewhere he said he told them where he was going. That isn't saying he told them he was going to Missouri it could mean he told them he was a hog.

If he didnt mean that, than I apologize. There is so much back and forth, I cant tell what he is trying to say. Says he has told the coaches where he is going, then saying he will make his mind up before he signs.

Says that CG is going to be a hog, then says he wont make it because of grades. All within a 10 minute span of posts.

The board is stupid right now and stuff like this only fuels the fire because none of it makes sense. This is the 3rd straight year of this now. It gets really old.

Young minds are fluid and can change. By late Tuesday night, after the high of the visit subsides, Dorial will rethink all that he has experienced. Didn't Wingo actually decide the morning of signing day?

Maybe when Dorial is home and Darnell says, "I still wish you were going to Arkansas!" Dorial will remember how he enjoyed his Arkansas visits and how much he wants to play for the Hogs. His parents will say, "Go where YOU want to go." Until Dorial signs his LOI my hope perseveres!

I would see what you're saying JRO, but when he followed "he's told the coaches where he's going" with something like "things in recruiting can change," I assumed as of now, the staff has been told he's attending Mizzou. I'm guessing the staff said "ok, but we're keeping the door open for you if you decide to change your mind."

JYH, I don't know whether ross knows anything or not, but I took his posts to be:

DGB has told our coaches he is going to Missouri. Things may change, and ross thinks he will wise up and change his mind before wednesday.

I don't know how it can be any other way. If that's his way of telling us that DGB called our coaches and committed, it sure is a crappy way to say it.

I hear you. Maybe i am grasping at straws after reading his clarification post above.

I don't know Ross but wish I did. I know that trey and Danny have def backed that he has solid sources inside the program. I can only go by what he tells me, trey and Danny, the info I get on twitter, recruits, players on the team, and two other people I trust very much.

I'm trying to sort through everything myself but damn how does pics of him looking like he was mizzerable on the visit. There was never a time he ever looked like he was unhappy on his visit at Arkansas. Also wtf his gf supposedly tweeted here kitty kitty kitty I don't follow her of course so I don't know if that really happened. If it did I'd say that's very bad news for us bc I never heard that she tweeted about Arkansas but maybe she did hell idk I don't follow her.

I don't think her tweet has anything at all to do with DGB's recruitment.

If we do finish like you say that would be a great class.

Danny and Trey don't usually post tenative commits. Just like with Humes. For them to include Wilson means someone informed them his has a spot.

cave and ross I appreciate both of you guys.

I really hope Rosshawg is in a business where selling (and selling BS) makes him a ton of money. He's gotta be rich if his customers are the 95 percent on here.

My gosh, this reminds me of Danny Sheridan back when I used to read him before I guess I wised up. You could read Sheridan any way and somehow he'd be telling you what you wanted to hear and then you'd bet and you'd lose but them you'd hear Sheridan claiming to predict darn-near 100 percent winners. Just depending on how you read it. In this thread, you've got DGB deciding and the coaches know, you have him on a recruiting high but will wise up, you have him going with the Hogs, hinting he's not, and that the staff believes they did the best job yet of evaluating players. Woo-wee.
With CG, it appears somebody didn't do a grade sheet evaluation worth a darn, if what Rosshawg posts elsewhere is true. Now he's a grade problem.
Makes complete sense.

Here's his quote: That being said, the number one recruit has told our staff where he is going.

There's no reference to where.

Bunch of spoiled ass brats on here that love to shoot down the messenger. Pitiful. Same ol shit different day. Trey and Danny need to put a stop to this poster bashing that y'all do every time Ross posts. Grow up. We can believe or not believe. It's our choice!!!

Thanks Ross. Glad to see your opinion on here. Personally, you won't find me tracking you down or whatever if it isn't all true.

Interesting about the Robert Gregory thing. Not sure how you use a spot on him unless Diamond is a humongous stud.

I'm surprised about the Gregory thing too....a little surprised that they would basically be sacrificing 2 schollies for Diamond......must be a major stud. Also, I guess I don't understand what CG=TD means?

Should have beat Bama in 2010. We let the game get away from us. We will always have a bigtime offense.....just need to keep improving the D. I do believe we have the staff that will do just that now.

At this point, if we get one of those guys I'll be elated! If we get two not counting Gregory, I'll be super elated and socked !!
