From ESPN. They say he could be a Chase Daniel type QB in the nfl. I think he could be a very solid back up with a chance to be a Kirk Cousins down the road.
Now days in the NFL the back up QBs get lots of chances for 2 reasons. 1) it seems like starters get hurt or miss more games now than they did in the past. 2) teams don't stick with a starter like they use to. (Heck look at the Texans or several other teams this past season who just went back and forth)
Bc of those 2 reason I think a back up needs to be prepared to play now more than any other time in my memory of the NFL. All that to say Allen can be a starter one day in the NFL easily if he prepares and sticks with it.
