With the class of 2024 mostly wrapped up and the transfer portal window closed for most undergraduates, the Arkansas coaching staff is set to host a good number of recruits in the class of 2025 this weekend.
Most of the prospects heading to Fayetteville will come from inside the state, as only two — Brody Whatley and Chase Garnett — are natives elsewhere. These visits give recruits the opportunity to see what Arkansas could do for them should the coaching staff offer a scholarship.
There aren’t any eye-popping recruits from a stars standpoint, as none of the visitors have a ranking from Rivals yet, but there are some key names to know.
The first of those names is North Little Rock defensive back Keytrone Green. It was on a Prospect Day visit in Jan. 2023 when he received his offer to play for the Razorbacks.
Since then, he’s also gotten looks from Ole Miss, Memphis and Florida, though no offers have come yet.
Another name to know is Whatley, an athlete from Monroe, Louisiana, who plays defensive end. He reported an offer from Arkansas on Aug. 22, 2023, and took a visit to Fayetteville the weekend of Sept. 16 when the Hogs took on the BYU Cougars. Whatley also has offers from Baylor, Missouri, Tulane and others.
Here are all the 2025 prospects Arkansas is expected to host Saturday. It should be noted that this list is subject to change and more visitors will likely be added. For the latest updates, check out The Trough premium message board.
