Arkansas will host New Mexico transfer running back Eli Sanders for an official visit Friday, he told HawgBeat.
A 5-foot-11, 194-pound junior, Sanders rushed for 1,063 yards and nine touchdowns on 147 carries during the 2024 season. For his career, Sanders has racked up 1,766 yards and 13 scores.
According to Pro Football Focus, Sanders finished the 2024 season with a 77.9 offensive grade, a 73.3 pass-block grade, an 83.9 run grade and a 67.0 run-block grade on 460 snaps.
Sanders originally began his college career at Iowa State, where he had a 477-yard, four-touchdown campaign in 2023. The former four-star prospect out of Arizona is the third known transfer running back to be offered by Arkansas, joining Texas State's Ismail Mahdi and UConn's Durell Robinson.
