Who paid for that awful ad first of all?

When did this site become political, and why would you put that on this website?

1. Paid for by Barack Obama, I'm sure.
2. It never became political - just like it never became a Texas site when the Longhorn Network had an ad on this site.

The best was when i logged on after Rutgers. The banner ad was for hemorrhoid cream. I thought about buying some.
