It would go to the state representatives...which now the Republican would have (it’s not a pull from every state...like there are 40 in California...but it’s one “vote” from each state and Rs now have the most states with a party majority).

Yep. Luckily that isn't going to happen otherwise our country would burn to the ground.

Paul Ryan tried to resist Trump and it didn’t go well. When he was running for VP he mopped the floor with Joe in the debates.

Why do you think he’d be a poor fit?
I lived in WI during his heyday. He’d be like the GOP putting a 308 on it’s foot and pulling the trigger.

GOP needs young, relatable new blood. Not standard, classic WASP politicians. Hell, dems too. If you keep running 70+ yo white men and cookie cutter politicians you do so at your own risk.
I hear you. I just love me some fiscal responsibility and that man knows his shit better than pretty much any other R I’ve ever heard speak.

People are crazy to think even if Biden wins Georgia by the slimmest of margins now that when that recount happens you won’t see Trump win in a big margin.

Was just talking about how graceful he was in the transition of power. His dad too.

I Still love W, man.

Just saw this posted.

The last time a one term President lost:

George H. W. Bush conceding to Bill Clinton saying,

“We respect the majesty of the democratic system - and America must always come first. And we will get behind this new president and wish him well.”

Donald Trump on the other hand... "FRAUD! SUPREME COURT!"

Go find a recount that made any significant difference.

Last major one I can think of happened in 2016 with Wisconsin. It made a difference of 300 votes.

This report says about 10% of the 27 between 2000 and 2015 had a change of outcome.
Here you go.
That’s more than I would have thought.
Recounts also typically don’t change the margin by an amount that would be large enough to affect the result of this year’s presidential election. The mean swing between the top two candidates in the 27 recounts was 282 votes, with a median of 219. The biggest swing came in Florida’s 2000 presidential election recount, when Al Gore cut 1,247 votes off George W. Bush’s lead, ultimately not enough to flip the state to his column.

It’s going to have to be super narrow for it to MAYBE matter
