As each day goes by without an announcement on the DC, it leads me to believe its someone that's still playing football. If you look at the DC's left coaching and the criteria that Morris has coached against them, it narrows the list down quite a bit. Best DC's left that he's coached against are Venables, Chavis, and Bud Foster. Of those three, I would think Chavis is probably best fit with geography and knowledge of SEC. Not sure why they wouldn't have named him already though. not coaching a major bowl game. Leads me to believe its Foster or Venables. If you were to ask me who are the best DC's in the country, its definitely one of those two guys.
