Haven't been to a game in Fayetteville since 2022... so I could be wrong at this point, but after watching the LSU/Ole Miss game on Saturday, it seems like there is a different level of energy that stadiums can reach and Arkansas still doesn’t get there. Maybe I’m wrong… Has this element improved much over the past couple of years?

The crowd for last week’s Tennessee game looked really rowdy and stayed into the game from start to finish from what I could see on TV. However, the telecast doesn’t really show what happens during in-game breaks, timeouts, etc. It has just always seemed to me that Arkansas is always behind-the-times on the experience during downtime (timeouts, between quarters, change-of-possessions, etc.) I’m all for honoring someone who has been a professor for 50 years or trying to guess if the Tyson chicken nugget is under Hat #1, #2, or #3 – but it really sucks the momentum out of the stadium at some of the worst times. What is new in the 2024 in-game experience at DWRRS that is working toward bettering the energy in the stadium?

A few examples from this weekend:
