In this first part of what will be a 5 part series, we'll vote on which of these large land animals would be the ultimate deathmatch foe.
Each round will last 24 hours, and voting locations will be linked. This event will span a couple weeks, having 5 total parts. Part 1 is Large Land Animals. Part 2 will be Small Land Animals and Insects, Part 3 will be Birds and Part 4 will be Aquatic Animals. Part 5 will have the winners of each bracket face off in an ultimate final four to determine the baddest animal out there.
Here's the premise:
-These animals all face off in a neutral environment in a battle to the death.
-1 member of each species.
-Your job is to vote for the animal you believe would win this fight to the death.

The fine folks of Hawgbert (except @tburkeslice ) have spoken. Here are the remaining contenders:
Last round, we saw Grizzly and Hippo pick up decisive victories; whereas, Polar Bear and Elephant won in an absolute battle. It was exhilarating.
Thanks again to all who voted. The turnout has been phenomenal, but we don't stop here. On to the Final Four.....

BATTLE OF THE BEARS: 1. Polar Bear vs. 2. Grizzly
What a journey it has been for these two competitors. Grizzly has picked up quick, decisive victories on his rampage to the final four making quick work of Wolf and 1-seed Jaguar. As the only non-1-seed to make it this far, we have to ask, can they finish the job? Polar Bear has been in some messy battles, but there's been little doubt they knew this Battle of the Bears was coming. This ultimate bear battle will go down in history.

Was there really ever a doubt that we'd see this matchup? The largest land competitor taking on the the number one overall seed, the hellacious Hippo. It'll be legendary. There's not more to be said.
