LSU leads Florida 10-0 and has runners on second and third with two outs in the bottom of the sixth. The game has been suspended due to fog and will resume at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Barring a comeback for the ages, Arkansas will play the Tigers later in the day (30 minutes after the conclusion of the Ole Miss/Texas A&M game that starts at noon) for a spot in the SEC championship game.

Most likely they’ll only play half an inning tomorrow because the SEC Tournament has a mercy rule of 10 runs after seven innings. The good news for the Hogs is that means LSU will have to burn another pitcher, as its current one likely would have finished it out tonight. By my count, nine LSU pitchers have combined to throw 593 pitches since Tuesday.

Oh, and of course Arkansas will play LSU. The Tigers are the Hogs’ most common opponent in the SEC Tourney, with 13 games. As you might imagine, LSU has dominated those games, winning 10 of them. The two teams met in the finals last year.
