this visit list (currently there on campus)

niversity of Florida official visitors: January 22, 2016

* Defensive end Brian Burns

Interest: High

Others: Alabama, Florida State, and Georgia

The Skinny: Burns is coming off an official visit to Georgia last weekend and has the Bulldogs in his top three along with Florida and Florida State. He recently decided to squeeze an upcoming midweek visit to Alabama in, but the Crimson Tide still has some work to do here. In the end many feel this comes down to Florida or Florida State, but at this time things are very close between the two.

* Defensive end Antonneous Clayton

Interest: Committed

Others: None

The Skinny: Despite big pushes by Auburn and Florida State, Clayton says he is fully committed to the Gators and will not take any other visits. Look for him to do some recruiting on the Gators behalf over the weekend. Clayton is the Gators highest rated commitment in the Class of 2016.

* Tight end Nick Eubanks

Interest: High

Others: Alabama, Miami, and Southern Cal

The Skinny: The Gators are in a good place to land Eubanks heading into the visit due to how the staff utilizes the tight end position. He is coming off an official visit to Alabama, a team Eubanks is also high on. You have to like where the Gators stand at this time, but he doesn’t plan to make a commitment until around signing day.

* Linebacker Vosean Joseph

Interest: Committed

Others: Alabama and Louisville

The Skinny: Despite the fact that he is taking visits the Florida staff feels good about keeping Joseph in the fold. He was in Tuscaloosa this past weekend and left talking up Alabama, but the Florida staff will look to lock him up over the weekend. There is also talk of a possible visit to Louisville the final weekend before Signing Day. Joseph will arrive on campus Saturday after he takes the SAT.

* Defensive tackle Shavar Manuel

Interest: Committed

Others: FSU

The Skinny: Manuel pulled the trigger and committed to the Gators earlier this month and will make his first visit to Gainesville as a Florida commitment. With Florida losing Jonathan Bullard the staff sees Manuel coming in and filling his void. Manuel will visit Florida State next weekend, a school he was high on early on, but the Gators staff will likely try to persuade him not to make that trip to Tallahassee.

* Linebacker Dee Walker

Interest: Medium

Others: Indiana

The Skinny: Walker is a bit of a ghost when it comes to his providing updates on his recruiting process, very rarely doing interviews. The Gators have not offered the three-star defender, but are interested in bringing him in on a visit as he is at a position of need. If an offer does come on the visit the Gators would likely become a major player here. He is coming off an official visit to Indiana this past weekend.

NOTE: Florida cornerback commit Aaron Robinson will also visit this coming weekend but it will be for an unofficial visit. With no SAT/ACT test score on file Robinson is not able to take official visits. Running back commit LaMical Perine will be in town this weekend for an unofficial visit as well.
