I want Mike to succeed in the worst way but it is starting to look like it's just not going to happen. My wife brought up a interesting thought tonite. She said maybe there is just too much pressure on Mike to follow Nolan here.
I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. He was really successful at UAB. And at Mizzou. He just can't seem to turn the corner here, for some reason. Maybe the game has passed him by. I don't know. I'm just really sad tonight. And I'm scared too. If Jeff Long pulls the trigger after the season, will he be the one hiring the new coach? That thought scares the hell out of me, quite frankly...
