It is once again time to send our guy(s) to Omaha, to help cover this run for the Hogs. We have been very successful in the past, with covering expenses for our writers to make their way to the Promiseland and be boots on ground. We even raised enough for Hutch to eat a nice steak dinner 3 nights in a row back in 2018.
That being said - we have @DanielFair heading to Omaha and will be on site Saturday Sunday Monday. Kyle and Dan plan on going back the following weekend for the championship, if/when we make it. We will raise money for that when we get to that bridge.
Daniel will be staying in a shared hotel room - his rate will be $80.00 per night x 3, which will come out to 275ish after taxes.
Daniel will be driving from NWA - Looking at mileage and the piddling around Omaha between games, imagine $150.00 will cover gas for his Honda.
Food - Dan plans on packing his meal(s) for Saturday's drive up to Omaha, so meals for Sunday and Monday - Imagine one meal per day will be at the ball park, depending on first pitch time. That leaves two meals a day, $40 per diem to cover breakfast and lunch/or dinner. $80 total.
So, room and board + gas + meals = $505.00. That should be easily attainable.
