One of the biggest plays of the game Saturday ended up being Ben Hicks' completion to Tyson Morris along the Portland State sideline on third-and-nine. It came with the score tied 3-3 and kept the Hogs' first touchdown drive alive.
Watching it live, I thought it was an interception. But somehow it was ruled complete. Well, as you can see in this incredible sequence by our photographer (another shoutout to Nick Wenger), it was not a great pass that should have been intercepted. It just went through the defender's hands. Also, look at where Morris' foot comes down... He was out of bounds! I can't believe Portland State didn't challenge it considering it was literally right in front of the Vikings' bench.
Just thought I'd share...
