I’m not sure what the offense is actually supposed to be. There doesn’t seem to be any sort of rhythm or flow. Going hand in hand with that is terrible shot selection. I don’t know if one is the result of the other, but it’s not good. Additionally, Arkansas had more turnovers than assists as a team and a terrible assist to made field goal ratio.

Three point defense is just bad. Over-helping. Going under screens. Late on rotations.

The rotations were bizarre. Notae has been pedestrian against good competition and still has an unlimited leash. CV being allowed to shoot so much right now is still puzzling. Williams was struggling defensively but when the Hogs cut it to 6 he went back in and OU pushed the lead back to 12.

Guards aren’t creating. A lot of isolation or just driving with their head down and hoping for contact. Occasionally Devo would find cutters on the drive but that was only a few times today.

Offensive rebounding and second chance points won’t be as much a strength as the weak schedule made some think. Hogs got offensive boards late, but only 2 second chance points for the game. Outrebounded 36-29.

Not sure where to go from here - also not trying to overreact to one game - but this is not a good basketball team right now.
