The defense last year held Alabama to 3 points through (almost) the first three quarters. This year we return 9 starters and we give up 35 points and 400 yards by halftime. Did alabama improve THAT much, or do we have a serious coaching problem/scheme on the defensive side of the ball. Our defensive players are better than that. If I recall correctly, we had pressure on the QB last year, we stuffed the run, we didn't miss tackle after tackle after tackle.
So what happened? They played better in the 2nd half, but did we just not prepare at all defensively?
