I’m in the beginning stages of one of my two senior theses at UCA and didn’t know if any of you could help me out.
This one is for my BA in history. I plan on doing punk rock politics and how punk bands moved from individual anti-establishment sentiments, to critiques on society, and eventually to heavily politically-charged lyrics.
There is very limited academic literature in this field, but I’m hoping to compensate for that by going interview-heavy for the thesis. Do any of you happen to have any connections to legitimate punk rockers, music history professionals, or know of any books I could read to point me in the right direction? It would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
