I’ll only go back to Houston Dale here. I see four distinct areas: recruiting, development, culture and scheme.
HDN - good recruiter, better than average developer of talent, good culture, better than average schemes. His downfall was the Springdale situation, which was just a no win no matter what he did.
B(MF)P - below average recruiter, average developer of talent, very good (football) culture, excellent scheme.
JLS - I seriously don’t see any need to comment here. Just a disaster all around.
CBB - average recruiter (better than average first two years), poor developer of talent, poor football culture, poor scheme
CCM - TBD on all fronts, but hopefully better than average in all aspects. We shouldn’t expect excellent in anything, but if we get it, he could be legendary.
