Howdy guys. Here's my situation: My family (5 people, one 4x4 4runner and one 1/2 ton GMC 4x4) were planning to make the trek from Texarkana to The Hill on Friday afternoon, see my son that is a UA student, go to the game, and return Sunday afternoon. The ultimate question is can we make it? We can cancel the Airbnb as late as 4 pm today, but the tickets (5 of them I got together on StubHub for like $80 each) will obviously be harder or impossible to get out from under.
Ya'll think we should try to make it? We thought about going I-30 to Little Rock and then I-40 to Ft. Smith. Does the state actually treat the roads? Do you think it would be even possible this late in the game to put the tickets back on StubHub? Is there any chance the game would actually be cancelled/postponed? Should I consider a new career (just kidding)?
