FWIW, The USA is only 8% larger than Brazil. How can someone believe that the US is as large as Africa when the entire North American continent is not as large as Africa.
FWIW, Canada dwarfs the Contiguous (not including Alaska and Hawaii) USA in land mass. Also in quality of life.

Saw online today that Florida is actually not part of the United States so turns out this map is actually NOT correct. But after taking out Florida, US is still pretty big.

Helps a whole lot that Canada is high on natural resources and light on population. It also helps them a bunch that they have pretty much enjoyed little brother status with the most economically and militarily powerful country on earth for generations. When they share economies with us and let our military strength protect them, it affords the ability to be more generous with their sparse population than we could ever be. But as always, mackey doesn't allow facts to skew his utopic visions.

I just moved from Vancouver BC Canada and if anyone thinks quality of life is better there than here is truley uninformed. Free healthcare is a total joke....taxes are crazy high to pay for it and nearly impossible to get care. Clinics all closed by 10 am because each Dr. can only see 32 patients per day. This was a reaction to Dr. just running people through like cattle to collect money but now the do same with their 32 patients then shutdown. So the ER is where people end up going and this creates 10-12 hr waiting times. Once you get in you can only discuss one issue. So if your knee and neck hurt you must pick one or the other to discuss. Government controls their life. Example: when super bowl is on...us commercials are forbidden to be shown, will not allow US cellular companies in Canada because they are not a free market enterprise. These are just a few examples but I could list all day.

Yes...same thing with music. It's called CanCon. The radio stations have to play a certain amount of "Canadian Content"...meaning a high percentage of music has to meet their CanCon rules. So...if a Canadian artist decides to come to Nashville to improve their career...but they still want to be considered a "Canadian" artist and get more Canadian airplay and be up for Canadian awards, something like 2/3rds of their song must meet CanCon requirements. So...if an artist records tracks in Nashville, they then have to go back to Canada to record vocals and also shoot the music video in Canada. Otherwise, it's an "American" record and stations can only play X% of foreign music per hour.

I can't believe some people are part of the same gene pool...a clear indication that their family tree is a stick...
American medicine isn't all that great either. I've had both parents in the hospital this past week with several follow visits to various doctor's offices - all with ridiculous wait times. One receptionist actually admitted that they book a patient every 15 minutes. That's 24 patients a day that the office bills insurance - at rates that are inflated well beyond what offices will charge a patient that pays cash for a procedure. That cost then get's passed on to patients through ridiculous premium rates. Let's not act like we are the shining light of affordable health care - and it's been a problem for decades and is a non-partisan issue.
