There has been a lot of discussion recently on expectations of both the football and basketball programs. Those expectations are based on our own perceptions.
As we sit here today most people on this board seem to have pretty low expectations for the football season and pretty high expectations for the upcoming basketball season.
Strangely enough I just looked up the current odds to win the national championship in each sport.
Odds for Arkansas to win the 2017 College Football Playoff: 75/1
Odds for Arkansas to win the 2017 NCAA Basketball Championship: 250/1
Doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot but I always find the national perception of our programs pretty interesting.
