He's already released the digital copy of his magazine on his app (just search for Phil Steele in the App Store/Play Store). The hard copy won't come out until next month.
He has us 18th in his Power Poll - this is not where he thinks we'll finish, but rather how we compare to other teams.
He has us 22nd in his Top 40.
Top Individual Units:
I don't like the way he does his SEC rankings (in parentheses). For example he has us listed as the #1 OL in the SEC, but he also has Georgia listed as the #1 OL. Nationally he has Georgia #3 and us #5, so shouldn't we be 2nd in the SEC? It's even more confusing at WR/TE as he has 5 different teams listed at 7th including us. In instances like this I will revert back to the national ranking to see where he thinks we really stack up. I will list this "true rank" according to his national rankings in bold.
QB - 37th (4th/4th)
RB - 5th (2nd)
WR/TE - 43rd (7th/10th)
OL - 5th (1st/2nd)
DL - 30th (7th/9th)
LB - 42nd (12th)
DB - 46th (9th)
ST - NR (13th)
SEC Outlook:
In one spot he has us finishing 5th in the West behind Ole Miss, but then when he does the team pages he has us listed 4th in the West ahead of Ole Miss. He seems to be down on us overall this year. He does say that 2 of his 9 prediction models (not his main) have us finishing 11-1.
