Not taking away anything from Clemson. Both teams had calls go their way. Just want to bring up the illegal pick plays Clemson twice used to score late. One the receiver goes out and acts like he's calling for the ball but he screens off two defenders. I've seen that play run so many times this year, and that guy isn't even an option to throw to. He's there to block. The next is a fake stumble by one receiver to set the screen. Both of these are illegal pick plays, I've seen them run more this year than ever and refs aren't calling it. It either needs to be made an emphasis with refs, or everyone needs to run that play all the time because it's almost an automatic touchdown when you can set screens. Obviously, there shouldn't be automatic passing plays like that. Again, talking about the refs not calling it as an emphasis, not about Clemson's championship. It's an indefensible play.
